It's not like me to post something like this, but I just really feel like I need to talk to other queer teens. I'm the only (out) lesbian in my year level (regional/rural area) and only one of a handful of queer kids at my school. But, I have had a lot of exposure to queer people in other parts of my life. I love my friends; I have a totally great group of straight girls who are accepting, even if we don't talk about my sexuality much (which is totally fine!)
The point is, I just wish I had someone who just understood. Again, its not like I have to deal with any homophobia or anything anymore, it would just be nice to find people who get it, the kind of people who know what its like to see all your friends get boyfriends while you feel a bit left behind!
