Sharing your concerns openly is very important since this is a lot to handle emotionally. It's excellent you've connected with resources like Kids Helpline and maybe encourage your friend to reach out to similar supports if they’re open to it.
Please remember to take care of yourself during this time. Supporting a friend in a difficult time can be draining, so it’s essential to take care of your own mental health too. Keep communicating with your youth worker and anyone else who can help you process your feelings about this.
