That sounds really hard having a panic attack and I'm sorry you went through that. Can I ask if you know what triggered it? When I have panic attacks I find it really helpful to look deeply about what could have led to the panic and where the anxiety lies. During panic attacks I find it really helpful to do some calm breathing or box breathing (you can look it up but it's about trying to slow down the speed of your breath to ease your nervous system) and to distract myself with music or videos. It could be helpful to have a discussion with your girlfriend about how you felt, how she could help you and what triggered it so that she can best support you. And if these panic attacks keep occuring you might want to look into seeing a doctor about it to find some more ways to cope and manage anxiety.
