@Pasta it definitely can do that too, I find it super helpful to be mindful of how much I am drinking if I am not feeling that great. That's really great that your mum can pick you up if you need to get home quickly. Completely up to you if you want to talk about it with friends or not. I hope that you have some fun as well at the party :)

Hey @Pasta :) Having alcohol involved can also make things tricker because you might have a bit less control over how you are feeling. I like @basketofmonkeys suggestion to have a back-up plan just in case you are feeling anxious. What do you think about planning a way to get home if you feel like it's too much? Or mentioning to your friend that it might be a difficult night for you? What do you think could help you?

Glad to hear that you have some amazing friends and mum who have been good supports throughout this difficult time <3 Negative: I just finished my degree and have been feeling a little bit overwhelmed and lost Positive: I have done some positive reframing journalling - which always helps and am focusing on self-care and staying busy :)

I noticed in your other posts that you are seeing a psychologist. How has that been for you? Please call Kids Helpline or Lifeline if you are feeling like you need to talk with a counsellor now about what you are experiencing. Do you have any plans to harm yourself?

Youtube is definitely my inspiration for cooking too, you can find a recipe for anything! What is something that has inspired you and why? I've recently had the privilege of supporting some people that were going through a really difficult time through my student placement. I have felt very inspired by their resilience and strength to keep on trying despite so many hardships. Do you have a tradition for grand final? Not really to be honest - I usually just spend time with friends and enjoy the public holiday :D Is daylight saving time good or evil? Great - I am loving the extra hour of light because it gives me some extra energy! Where is your favourite place to go during Spring time? Anywhere in nature - the beach, forrest, park. Super excited to do some day or weekend trips when I finish Uni! What would your ideal Halloween costume be? That Marge gif is one of the best I've seen! I like the 'classic' halloween costumes (Eg vampire, witch, etc).

@Pasta it sounds like you think your family or friends would be pretty understanding about what you've been going through but you wouldn't want them to feel worried about you? Does that sound like I'm on the right track? It sounds like chatting with friends is a really good distraction for you and you don't feel as low when you're doing that at school or online. Would you be able to tell me a bit more about messages being partly the cause of how you've been feeling?

Hey @Pasta I can definitely understand not wanting to feel like people are thinking of you or treating you differently. It's completely up to you if you want to chat to someone in your life or a professional about what's been going on for you. What do you think a friend, your mum or a counsellor might think if you told them about how you've been feeling? You mentioned it was mostly at night that you've been experiencing the depressive states and difficult thoughts and feelings. Is there anything during the day that you think helps you to feel a little bit better?
