rose1234Totally, I think a lot of people make persona's, people just think it's better and sometimes easier for them but it's just playing with other people really, just like catfish !

Thanks Sophie, what about in situations where a relationship is great online but say they are really shy in person to each other. I know this happened a lot when i was a bit younger
That is sooooo true! I remember that so much!
I think it feels like that's more about people trying out parts of personality online that they are not comfortable to do in real life yet? But I'm not sure. It definitely gets less when you get older - what do you think?

rose1234, I think people have started growing up online now, and are simply more comfortable talking online, making offline conversations, maybe feel awkward? Not sure.- Mark as New

How do you know what is a safe relationship online? What steps can you take in order to keep yourself safe when interacting with other people online? What things could you do to ensure you feel respected and that your personal information/images were being protected?
Making your profile super private if you feel the need to. This could be something like using your last initial instead of your last name, I know somebody who has their last name first and their first name last so he can't be found.

I think if you're having a relationship online you should set yourself boundaries as you know yourself and what you would think would be good for you, I think keep personal things personal until you and only you feel comfortable to share, pictures are the big thing because you can't always be sure that no one else will find them or even get uploaded to the wrong things, i don't trust people with images, but i know people do so my thing would be boundaries.- Mark as New

Hey everyone, my name is Brix, so I will start off with the first question 🙂
Technology is a part of all our relationships, romantic or otherwise. Is technology an important part of your relationships and if so, how? Does technology (like texting, dating apps and Facebook) make relationships better or more does it make them more complicated?

HeyI think that technology is a big part in my relationship, either my family, friends or boyfriend, it's an easy way to communicate if you aren't near them.
Also to the other question about being safe, well i think if you know the person yes of course but on the other hand when you don't know the person i don't really think it is the safest option

Very true Fox ring, i met one person one time but i had 6 people with me because i worry a lot about everything, and it's really true about the risks, people take their own risk every time they meet someone.Google is a great part of technology that can be used or the health apps also on my smart phone, you can read a lot but if you don't understand always see a professional

Thats true dreamer 95, but when using google for things like that you should be wary, people can get very nervous about their health if they use "google doctor" when theres nothing to be nervous about often.- Mark as New

I wasn't talking about google doctor, i mean't not just about one topic, it can help with anything and as i said always go to a professional, Myself i wouldn't listen to it or even use it if i was that nervous about certain things, but i know there are a lot of people that will, google is just a good way to see what people have talked about their encounters but also about personal stories, which i think would help a lot for some people, technology can be great but at the same time be a burden.- Mark as New

Hey guys....
Talking about sex and sexual health can sometimes be hard to do. Does communicating with technology make this easier? Why might that be?

I've definitely seen how communicating with technology (anonymously) can help with talking about things that have stigma or are awkward! Online Community Manager
