This week (13-19th November) is Transgender Awareness Week! We are very proud to introduce a volunteer from our own community @Lapis_Anteater to celebrate the occasion with us and share his story.

it's honestly sad seeing how normalised transphobia is online 😞 i've seen literal grown adults mocking and laughing at trans people as if it there's not more important topics in society.
Hey @visions_9374 I totally agree with you there 😞 It's especially hard to see when it's adults who are spreading such intolerance and insensitivity to the identity of others. It makes it so important to have safe spaces to talk and express ourselves. How do you find yourself managing your feelings when you see content like this online? We have an article here on dealing with transphobia but I'd love to hear what you find works 😊
