I wanted to make a thread where we could all keep track of our self care and encourage each other to take care of ourselves.
Today I practiced self care by taking a break from my assignment for some fresh air. How did you practice self care today?
Today, I practiced self-care by taking a relaxing bath and meditating before bed. Doing these always helps me sleep better at night!!
Today I practiced self- care by politely declining plans that I knew would overstimulate me, this has allowed me to focus on myself.
Hii everyone, I went on a outdoor walk today and listened to a podcast to practice self care. Walks are no joke - they're so refreshing
I practiced self care today by taking time to do a fun painting at home and relax!
Today I practiced self care by attending a pilates class. I had no motivation to go but knew this bit of exercise would make me feel better and it did!
Today I practiced self care by getting myself some ice-cream with a friend! Simple, but definitely brightened my day 🙂

I like to practice self-care by trying to give my body the basics it needs (good sleep, water, healthy foods, some exercise). When I'm feeling stressed, I make sure to set some time aside to journal about how I'm feeling and organise a list of what I can do to help myself feel better/less stressed! ☺️
Today I practiced self care by going for a run and tidying up my spaces. 😊🏃

Today I practiced self care by tidying up my room! I find it so relaxing and rewarding, being in a clean space makes me calmer and feel organised and like I'm looking after myself. It's even more fun when I listen to music while doing it!😀

Today I practiced self-care by taking my dog for a walk and going to the gym with a friend. I also took a time out by watching Netflix and eating ice-cream.
Today I practiced self care by writing my thoughts in a journal and did some scrapbooking! Letting my creativity flow and grounding myself in my thoughts makes me feel more aware of myself spirtually and eases my mind. 😊
Today I practiced self-care by taking myself for a morning walk and getting a coffee at my favourite cafe! Getting out of the house first thing helps me clear my thoughts and set myself up for the day🌺
Today, I practiced self care by letting myself sleep in. I've just finished up with work and uni for the year, and feel like I haven't been allowing myself to slow down yet. I let myself have a couple extra hours of sleep this morning and now I feel prepared to be more purposeful in relaxing while on break.
Today, I practiced self care by setting aside some time to write poetry. It helps me take my personal experiences and make meaning out of them in creative ways, and also allows me to reframe my thinking when I am feeling low.
Today I practised self-care by writing a diary on self-reflection. Through this process, I have a better understanding of my emotions and feelings. I also take this opportunity to reflect on my behaviour, keeping those that are good and looking for better solutions for those that need improvement.
Today, I practiced self-care by talking to my friend about what has been troubling me. I find that talking to someone about my problems helps me organise my thoughts, which makes me feel better and helps me think of logical solutions.
Today I practiced self-care by letting myself nap for a couple hours. With a busy social and academic life, I barely let myself live in the moment and take a breather. Resting for a while helped me regain suprisingly lots of strength to power through the day.
Today I practiced self-care by going for a walk at my local park. Connecting with nature helps to ground me 🌲
