It's not nice to hear J has been looking sad and not his usual self, but it's beautiful to see that you will reach out and make sure people are okay. That says a lot about your character to offer support like that 💜

It must be frustrating that he hasn't emailed back or responded yet. In my experience, sometimes, people find it hard to put their feelings into words and respond when they are sad. It's not a reflection of how they feel about you, and after some space, things can change.
