This came up on Facebook immediately after I sat down after putting our kid back to bed for the 4th time since 7pm. This time it was
“going to kitchen”
“your going to the kitchen, what for?”
“ get the crocodile in kitchen” “crocodile”
“what? Do you mean the tongs”
“yeah, tongs”
“no.”
Hahaha @Saltwaterdreamtime that actually made me laugh out loud, I can relate to that SO much. I also have a small human who will come up with the most ridiculous excuses to put off actually going to sleep. That crocodile line is very cute though 😉

Our little one has only recently gone from the cot to a bed this year, or maybe was it late last year I can’t quite remember, and sometimes if we’re up watching tv he’ll come out to the lounge room and be like “oh hello there what are you doing here”

He actually just thinks from 6:30pm onwards we are playing one big game... and us adults must be real grinches
@Saltwaterdreamtime oh man, I hear you - bedtimes at our place are a bit of a circus at the moment, the little dude seems to have endless supplies of energy and enjoys running around naked at any opportunity!

Feel like the conversation about the banana is one that happens in so many households! Does it eventually end in eating the fruit or is it sometimes hit and miss?
@Jess1-ROhe takes the fruit, and takes half a bite out of it and leaves it on the floor, seriously kid, you wanted it so badly...
@Saltwaterdreamtime hahaha that made me laugh a lot, and that sounds extremely familiar to me - both of the small people in my house do the same thing! I found half a banana hidden in a toy box yesterday, thankfully it had only been there for a few hours. So disgusting!

Haha love it @lokifish - 9 featherbabies is pretty impressive!! Do they live inside or outside? I've always loved birds, but we have 2 cats (and 2 human children) so birds are probably out of the question at the moment 😉
