This is a place to make small talk and chill out while talking to other young people on RO! 🙂 From banter to small talk about the weather, to sharing something that made you laugh today, this is the place to hang out with your peers and chat!
If you're not sure how to start, you could tell us what virtual drink or snack you'll be having from the RO cafe 😛 or you could always just start with "hi, is anyone around?" 🙂

I'm trying to think of a cafe question or activity for today... Hm... I don't know if this is lame but- Pick a random object near you and try to sell it to us as if you were selling it on ebay or something 🤣 Like describe it in a really weird/funny way. Like have you read/seen the fault in our stars when they try to sell that swingset? Something like that! The more mundane and unappealing the object, the better!
I'll go first.
For 'sale': Preloved 'cool ridge' drink bottle. Perfect for exams (label has been removed- you won't be accused of cheating!). This bottle comes preloved with a striking red coloured cap and a clear blue-tinted body- perfect for carrying water or other cold/lukewarm drinks.
Please note: the bottle has some dents and may leak slightly, but has been washed.

Winter has begun but its cozy at the cafe ☕🧦🧣♨️🥰How are people keeping warm as the weather cools down?

Around this time last year, I had 3 tiny foster kittens and they would sleep in a pile together on top of a hot water bottle and it was so cute i imploded.
I also recently bought slippers and they have changed my life! What other warm items are people adorning themselves with to keep out the chill?
@Hannah-RO Ahhh that is an adorable image I can see why you would have imploded 😛 And yeah they definitely use us for warmth too. My oldest cat is sleeping at my feet atm and snoring 😴 she's so sweet
Aw, I wish I had a cat right now! My housemate and I want one, but we're moving in a few months and trying to save up money so it's not the right time for us. But I came up with another option just last night - we could do pet boarding! I should look into it some more, it could be really nice.

That is an awesome idea @squiggly - could be a great way to test it out without the huge commitment. I really respect that you don't want to get a pet until it's the right time, this is very wise and responsible 😻
I have a cafe Q, would you rather have a sweet cafe snack like a brownie or cookie? Or a savoury snack like a bagel or sandwich?
Definitely a sweet snack @Hannah-RO! And yes my cats do snore occasionally 😛 is that not normal? Perhaps there is too much dust in our house 😅
This cafe reminds me of that ad "tonight I'll be eating..." Lol. Has anyone ever tried liquorice tea? It's really good!
