the winter blues
Winter is here! and I'm stuck inside. While I generally think down whenever winter is mentioned, whenever it comes around I'm also reminded of all the wonderful things it CAN bring.

One of my favourite things are soups. Homemade soups are often made in winter instead of summer. Nothing wrong with bunkering down with a bowful of yummy stuff with a movie on.
Nice thread @amywells21! And good point about the soup @scared01 - my favourite is mushroom!
Other winter-related things I enjoy are cups of tea (already sort of mentioned) and curling up with a book or TV show 🙂
