my favourite teacher is leaving and i'm really sad
now don't get me wrong, i'm happy for her but i'm going to miss her so darn much. like, she was one of the only teachers who really knows me and has seen me on bad days and good days alike. i'll never have anyome like that again. i'm going to miss her so much and every time i think about it it makes me want to cry. i have a week left with her. what do i do?

It can be really sad when a favourite teacher leaves. Especially when that teacher is someone you really trust and can go to when you're down.
That's really nice of you to write a card. I'm sure she appreciated that so much. Teachers can be a lot of students' second mum/dad. I also personally had a teacher who was so caring of all her students and when she left, it was really hard at first. But eventually, I was able to find that same support in someone else.

I'm sorry to hear that your favourite teacher is leaving, I can only imagine how hurtful and overwhelming it must all feel right now. You mentioned that she was one of the only teachers who really knew you, and so I wonder if she is aware of just how much you will miss her. Is there maybe something nice that you could do, to share some of these thoughts with her?

yeah i gave her a card today and drew a picture of us that was taken a little while ago, she started crying (of appreciation) but i just kinda felt sad too, i wrote a nice card about how i appreciate her and how i'll miss her. i still have a week with her but i sort of already miss her
