Whats wrong with me

when i was around 12 i was diagnosed with depression and anxiety but now (16) i worry that its something a bit deeper than that, because sometimes i am so depressed that i cant force myself to get out of bed and i let food sit in my room until it grows mould. But sometimes for a month or more at a time i have so much energy that i only need a few hours of sleep, go out every day and night and do insane things that i look back on and realise are usually extremely dangerous. i feel emotions so strongly that sometimes when im upset i feel like nothing could ever make me feel better. please help me

Hi @Blue_Chameleon

That really does sound hard..

We can't give a diagnosis, so we can't really say wether or not it's more than just depression, but we can help you find a proffesional who might be able to help if you don't have one already.

In the meantime though, there are some stratergies that can probably help you manage what's going on, would you be intrested in talking through some of them at all?

Hi @Blue_Chameleon I am so sorry to hear that you are going through so much right now. I can only imagine how overwhelming all these changes must be, especially feeling so depressed that you can't get out of bed one month and then have so much energy the next.

I am wondering if perhaps you have spoken to a Health Professional, or even a trusted friend or family member about this at all?

We are all here to support you đź’ś
