oops
so say you realised there's a sht ton of mold on ur drink bottle, so you decide to disinfect it, fast forward a day its done.
Until you drink from your bottle and realises there's still a strong taste of the solution you mixed to disinfect the bottle (laundry powder and bicarb soda), ik this is reachout not google but I feel its safer here and the answers will be more credible.
is it time to recycle my bottles, or is there a way to get that smell out of my bottles? I'm worried

I can't give you the straightforward answer you were hoping for since I'm not experienced enough and would hate to give you the wrong advice. BUT I can relate in that often I find my bottles also smelling funky and also affecting the taste even after washing them out. Maybe its to do with the way bottles are stored? Honestly, I'm not too sure...

Hi, yeah it seems to be helping. I figured maybe it may take weeks so I bought a new bottle anyways, hopefully I don't have the same issue this time.
It doesn't always work to be honest and it could be placebo, but since I find my bottles smelling funky after being cleaned and put in storage for a while - I make it a habit to take them out and keep the lid off and just let them air out before I use them and also rinse the inside with water and shake it up and let it air dry again without the lid.
