Feel-good books and movies

Now that we've all been spending more time at home, what are some of your favourite books/movies/podcasts/media of your choice to engage in when you just want to relax?

For me, the 5th season of Queer Eye has just come out and I'm looked forward to spending some time with the Fab 5 again!

I've also been enjoying the Tales from Earthsea series by Ursula Le Guin:

One of the things I like to do when I want to see something funny or need cheering up is watching funny animal videos. 🙂
Netflix recommended a show called Absurd Planet to me and I watched a few episodes.

@Anonymous  It's definitely fun to explore new things to enjoy while still being able to go back to old favourites...has your husband been enjoying the Simpsons?

@drpenguin I agree, Rick Riordan is great! His writing hits such a great mix of action and humour. What do you think might be your favourite book of his so far?

@Anonymous Nice! The first series is definitely a great read with a lot of adventure and action and emotion! I hope you enjoy the books!

@TOM-RO Probably my favourite book was probably the House of Hades in the Heroes of Olympus series because of the crazy adventures they had in the underworld, or the Hidden Oracle in the Trials of Apollo series because of how hilarious I found it! I've definitely enjoyed all the books so far though and keep wanting to read more! 😄
