Positive & Inspirational Life Quotes
What inspires you? There are a lot of things that can provide inspiration – seeing other people accomplish great things, seeing other people overcome adversity, hearing inspirational quotes from great people, even the sheer beauty of nature can remind us just how lucky we are to be alive.
“When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left and could say, I used everything you gave me.” – Stephan Flemming
best thing to inspiration yourself, inspiration quotes is the best way, inspiration vedios, much more ideas to inspiration yourself.
I'm a Harry Styles fan, and a while ago at a concert he told the crowd: "fill up your own cup, and let them fall in love with the overflow."
I just thought that was a nice way to remind people that looking after yourself and doing things that make you feel fulfilled should be a priority.
One of my favourite quotes is short and sweet but impactful for me. It says "No rain, no flowers". I like to remember this when things get difficult because I remember that rain is just as important as sun for being able to flourish, and that in the end things will be worth it because I will have my flowers 😊
This reminds me of the saying (or quote..I'm not sure what it is) "The grass isn't greener on the other side, it is greener where you water it." In an example of a relationship, if you put time and effort into it (watering it) it will become better (greener), instead of jumping ships and finding someone else expecting it to be better. If you've got 80% - 90% of your perfect person, you're winning. Why focus on that 10% or 20% that's missing... nobody is perfect.
Similarly, if you put as much time and effort into taking care of yourself, you will see yourself flourish (i.e. getting greener). It is so great how these quotes and sayings impact us.
What an inspirational thread! Love to see everyone sharing the quotes that have positively impacted their life. I've recently discovered a quote while reading a book on productivity: "Every action you take is a vote for the person you wish to become." - James Clear.
I think this quote is beyond powerful as it is something that aligns your present self with your future self. It doesn't need a particular setting/situation or other limitations for it to be applicable and helpful! It governs what you do in every single moment, and also makes long-term goals and visions actionable.
I really appreciate your positive and inspirational life quotes! They are a great source of motivation and encouragement for anyone who needs a little boost. Keep spreading positivity and inspiring others with your words!
inspirational quotes are very helpful full but I have a question.
what are the best inspirational quotes?
Hey @Cornflower_Mandrill@Cornflower_Mandrill that's definitely a valid and valuable question! From my intepretation, I think the best inspirational quotes are the ones that work the best for you - personally.
"A joy it will be one day, perhaps, to remember even this." - the Aeneid
"Even if where you are today isn't exactly where you'd like to be, the path you've paved for yourself isn't in vain - every step forward and backward counts" -- Alex Elle
Whenever I encounter setbacks and feel like I'm falling behind because of them, I re-read this quote to remind myself to give myself a little more credit for how far I've come.
Embracing yourself for who you are is a helpful tip to lead a contentful and happy life
One of my favourites is a quote from The Lord of the Rings: "In the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it will shine out the clearer."
The Lord of the Rings movies in general have always been some of my favourite comfort movies 💛
Another quote that has been floating around online which I love is:
“The version of you that will handle that tough thing – if or when it happens – will be born into existence in that moment … trust your future self to handle future problems."
This quote really helps me when I'm worried about things that might go wrong in the future - it helps me remember that I don't need to have the answer or solution to everything right now, and that I can just trust that I will inevitably and in my own time acquire the tools that I will need to cope.
@HappyApples thank you for this one. I've been carrying it with me ever since I saw you posted it and it has helped ❤️
You don't know how happy it makes me to hear that 💛 I'm so glad it's helped
I found a quote online by Robin S. Sharma saying, "For your life to be great, your faith must be bigger than your fear."
I decided to put this quote up as my google chrome home page wallpaper, because I just found it so motivating and insightful. It is true that for me, sometimes excessive self-doubt and criticisms from others can really discourage the pursuit of a goal that is in reality achievable. In such times, having enough faith in yourself can seriously turn the tables around and push you towards realizing your potential.
Very well said @Greenfern 💜 and I'm totally with you on believing in yourself, and not letting the criticisms of others hinder your ability to reach your goals 😊
My beautiful life phrases (frasi belle vita) are: "We live in a world where we hide to make love, while violence and hatred spread in the sunlight". (John Lennon)
I'm big on quotes myself. I love relationship and love topics. I like to see love happen and a good love story always touches my heart. “Love is a two-way street constantly under construction.”
What I've noticed is that everyone's love story is unique and everyone has a different reason why they love someone. “A relationship is not based on the length of time you spent together; it’s based on the foundation you built together.”
One of my favourite sayings is "No pain, no gain" - it helps to remind me when things are really hard, that I can take something useful from any experience. When I look back on my life and all the things that have happened, I can pinpoint amazing experiences, people and traits that I wouldn't have if I didn't go through hard times.
