What is Social Responsible Company?

I like the concept of the Triple Bottom Line as a way of explaining what a socially responsible company is @Trikle Trade. 

Basically instead of just making as much money as possible, a socially responsible company also thinks about it's environmental impact and its impact on the people in the community that supports it as well as its employees. So the people bit is what makes a company socially responsible. So a socially responsible shoe company would make sure the people that make the shoes are paid a fair wage that allows them to live comfortably, makes sure it's staff don't work too long, and would also give back to the community by doing things like sponsoring a sports team, or supporting vulnerable people to learn skills and have a job they like doing and that is meaningful to them.
