Bahahaaaa this made me laugh SO much.
And for the record- I first started uni at 17. Then I hated it, and changed degrees, but didn't finish that one either.
I finally started again from scratch many years later- which was one of the scariest things I'd ever done. It was at the same uni which was even weirder!!
It was also one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I'm so glad I pushed through - I graduated with my partner, kids and parents there and jeez it was a long bloody road getting there, but it was worth it.
SO many people leave uni, go back, change degrees, work for awhile, decide what they want to do, go back... I had heaps of fellow 'mature age' friends and we all had such diverse life experiences (one of my friends was in the circus! Like literally ran away and joined the freaking circus!!) - and it was super weird at first being surrounded by fresh faced 18 year olds.
But we got there. Like sloths, but we got there.
