Hey @MB95, there can definitely be a sense of security when chatting with someone that is familiar over someone less familiar. Helplines do come in handy, particularly during the odd hours of the night. It makes sense that this is when they are needed for a lot of people. There are lot of emotions that can set in during the evening such as loneliness, sadness, anger etc. Sometimes when we have gone through the whole day dealing with so much and it comes towards the end of the day, it can all just be too much. It can be the end of the night when things reach boiling point and have the need to speak to someone in order to release emotions. How are you feeling today? What has today been like for you?
