@Eden1717 @Lost_Space_Explorer5 I totally agree, health anxiety has always felt like such a shitty trick that our brains play to me - like, you're feeling anxious? Cool, I'll just increase your heartrate, and make your nervous system kick in, so you'll also have legitimate physical symptoms too! Plus as we know, so many chronic health conditions can flare when we're under stress- that one has always annoyed me. I used to get sick every single exam season, without fail.
I'm glad you've been able to chat about it here- I'm curious to know if there's anything you've found helpful in managing health anxiety? It's a tricky beast!
