Hi there @I_like_cows

Firstly, you have a wonderful username.

Secondly, gender is often seen as a scale from masculine to feminine. And that's never resonated for me personally. I'm genderfluid and non-binary, and sometimes I feel more like a girl or more like a boy, but I'm always closer to something else entirely.

Gender is super weird, and there are more options at any one time than "boy" or "girl".

Maybe you're not entirely a boy, but your gender tends to hang around the more masculine side of things? Maybe you're sometimes a boy, sometimes a girl, and sometimes something else entirely. Maybe you fit one of the fancy specific lables like demiboy.

Sometimes though, it's less important to find a label for yourself, and more important to find things that make you feel good in your body and in yourself.

Often transition is shown as following a set of steps that you have to take towards presenting as your real gender. But that doesn't leave much room for people who're still figuring out their gender, or people whose gender or gender presentation doesn't fit into male or female.

And my advice for people who are still trying to understand how their gender works is by playing with it a bit.

Like, play video games with customisable/ male characters, and see how that feels. Play RPGs where you get to decide on your pronouns.

Get that binder. If you want to hide your breasts before then, use dark, loose-fitting clothing, it makes a huge difference.

Look into makeup, look into boys clothes, see what seems to fit you best.

Try refering to yourself with different gendered words, maybe look at some names you think will fit you.

Keep things that feel good, leave things that feel bad, and see where it takes you.

I can't tell you wether or not you're trans. But I think that if you go with what feels good for you, you'll find out.
