Hey @Jardin, thank you for sharing with us! This kind of stuff can be really hard, and sometimes it feels like there never is going to be a 'right' time to do these kinds of things! I also am on the same page with @Taylor-RO - I would probably feel inclined to let my friends know earlier so I can make time to see them before I leave, but I understand why this can be hard to do. But again, it's entirely individual and completely depends on your own personal situation and your relationship with your friends. Sometimes it's good to put yourself into someone else's shoes and ask yourself whether you would want someone to wait to break the news or tell you sooner. And as already said, you can always weigh up the pros and cons on here - we're here for you!
