Hey @egirlanonymous
I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling with drinking. In the short term drinking can feel good, but you often need to keep drinking to keep that effect. Eventually this starts to stop your production of feel good hormones, meaning that you will need a drink to feel good. If you'd like some more support or information about drinking, we have some articles here. I have seen your other post about your family and friends, so I will reply there too but do you think that drinking is helping you to escape some of those difficulties? Also, is there anything else that makes you feel good, particularly when you are struggling? Is there anyone that you feel comfortable sharing this with in real life?
