Thanks for sharing with us, it sounds like you've gone through a lot of change recently with moving schools and trying to find new friend groups. I just wanted to let you know that you're definitely not alone in feeling like this, and it takes time for most people to find friends that they really connect with.
This article has some good tips on how to make friends in a new school that you might find helpful. Do you do any activites after school where you might find people that are more your kind of people?
I think a lot of people tend to blame themselves or think there's something wrong with them (I've definitely done this in the past too!) when they struggle to find strong friendships. But I can assure you that isn't the case and actually think it's really fantastic that you have high standards for people you want to spend time with. That shows just how much self worth and self respect you have, which is awesome! This article gives some examples of what makes a good friend which I think everyone should set their standards to!
Do you keep in touch with any of your old friends? Are you able to chat to them online? I came to Australia 10 years ago and I'm so grateful for my old friends who I still message regularly even though they live on the other side of the world! It can be great to connect with people online as well as in person to get some balance in the friendships you have too.
Looking forward to hearing back from you and supporting you through this 😊
