Hi @lemurien
Thanks for sharing. I felt touched reading your post and it put a smile on my face to hear about the wonderful relationship you have with your psychologist. Changing supports can be really challenging but it is so amazing to feel like you have finally found what you have been looking for! 😊
I can really hear your excitement about testing high for ADHD! You have mentioned a few things about the way you have been feeling - lazy, stupid, like life is fast and the world is intense.... A lot of people can judge themselves quite harshly before receiving a diagnosis because we like to think we can always push ourselves harder to be 'better' and to 'do more'. I can totally understand why having an explanation for these feelings would feel exciting! You must also be feeling quite a sense of relief, am I right? Even if it isn't ADHD, you have got some great supports behind you who seem really interested in helping you explore whatever comes your way.
I am so happy for you and I imagine that you must be feeling quite proud of yourself for coming such a long way. I know that you aren't the only one who feels this way, so I am sure that others will stumble across this post and find it so affirming to read
