I can't tell you how much I relate to this post @lemurien 🙃
Sorting out an adhd diagnosis can be such a hard time. I remember being SO nervous that I wouldn't have it without any explanation for my struggles. I've noticed that it's a really common experience for those of us who are exploring adhd later in life.
I love that you're thinking about getting support and info regardless of what happens when you see the psychiatrist. Now that I have my diagnosis, I am still learning all the time about how I can support myself to juggle life when all my brain wants to do is hyper fixate on some random fact or hobby 😆
It's all trial and error to find what works for you, and I can see that you're already doing that!! Finding ways to stay organised and get to sleep is all part of it.
I want to acknowledge how hard it is to stick to routines and find it a challenge constantly. It can get you down, but honestly, my number one tip after everything I've learned is to show yourself kindness and celebrate yourself when you do stick to something. All easier said than done, I know, but know that we are here for you through this as well 😊
