I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this right now, I can only imagine how you must be feeling. The law says that it is never okay for a parent to hit a child and it can be seen as a type of family violence. Would you feel comfortable talking to your school counsellor about this? When do you think you might be able to make an appointment with them?
