Hi,

The chat with Kids Helpline was good. I was about to talk to someone about my anxiety and gender identity and got some tips to cope with my general anxiety and/or panic attacks.

It is difficult to go from friends being supportive to my own family not being supportive. I've kind of learnt to pretty much block out the wrong name and pronouns when someone says them and mentally replace it with my preferred.

I don't want my mum to attend to my sessions. She ends up doing all of the talking or talks over me and I feel like I can't open up as much with her in the room. I know I'm older... but I really just can't stand up to her. She used to physically and mentally abuse me in the past.

Will definitely look at the search engine, thank you!

I will look into those articles and podcasts. From social media I know that it is actually more common for autistic people to identify as trans and queer then neurotypicals but it seems the rest of the world hasn't caught up yet.

I tried QLife a long time ago when I was in school and still learning about my identity. It's quite helpful, I will have to revisit QLife.
