I am sorry you have not feeling great I have had issues with friends like that, I had one of my longest friendships break down because they just never replied and i was only messaging maybe one every 3 months so i wasnt harrassing them or anything like that but i was always first to message and they would talk to other people just not me and when they finally did talk to me they would say they were sorry and would try and change but they never did and this kept happening so one day i sent them a message being honest about my feelings and they never replied ever they just cut off contact and i decided they were no longer worth chasing and now we are not friends. i am not saying this to scare you but sometimes some people are not worth the time and hurt you spend on them even if you have been friends for a long time idk how to manage things with your friend because my way clearly didnt work but i think if you feel deep down that you arent being valued then maybe it is time to reassess the relationship. you have a right to protect your feelings.
as for the being irritable that sucks and hopefully it is just the med change and will settle over time. if not do you think maybe something is stressing you out? or are you getting enough sleep? sometimes being tired makes me really grumpy.
