Ummm, a bit hard to explain. It's something I learnt in year 9 a few years ago. I go into a dark room with a spotlight for a photo of the subject in high contrast. Then I Photoshop the exposure and simplify the image into only three or four shades (cutout). Then project it onto something and paint it. Background black, and the couple shades a solid colour theme. Like yellow or blue. I don't know if you got that but it is turning digital art into a painting. I don't know what or who to do it of yet ...
