I wanted to pop in here to say that it's amazing that you're thinking of ways to take care of yourself. It makes sense that you've been finding it more difficult to cope when you're away from your usual strategies. I like your idea of bringing a little comfort item with you 😊 All you can do is give it a go and see whether it makes any difference. 

 

It's totally up to you whether you want to bring it up in person or over text. Given the issue relates to texting and you have felt quite upset, bringing it up in person might be beneficial to avoid a similar situation. I don't know if you're the same but when I'm feeling particularly worried, it helps to chat in person because I can get better clarification, speak more freely, see their facial expressions and I also don't need to worry about when they'll respond. I had a similar issue with one of my friends and it really helped for me to be able to open up about it with them, so please know you're not alone❤️
