It's so cool that you are pushing yourself to keep reading older literature even if it's a bit more difficult to read. There are so many old books that have such amazing stories. 

I recently started reading again and whilst I don't have a favourite book, the last one I read was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It's been recommended to me in so many places and I found it to be really interesting. The mystery and drama just drew me in.
