A few years back I actually also travelled to Cambodia for similar reasons and It was a really eye-opening experience to see a different culture and step into their lifestyle. Being there to learn more about the people and their traditions, and also finding ways to help and make a difference is something I will never forget and It sounds like you too had an amazing time. I agree with what you said about it being an opportunity that people would not regret!
