My favourite thing about volunteering is that you get to help people and understand and connect with people's experiences in life, I also find that you can learn a lot about people which is really cool! As someone else mentioned, it also gives you a sense of community and belonging, and it's always a nice feeling to be part of a welcoming community. 🙂
