I'm at a point in my life where even if we break up, I believe it's for the best and think I would be at peace. I have tried to end it a couple of times but it never worked out. promises would be made and friends and family would discourage the breakup, so we would end up back together. 

right now it's more comprehension that's lacking. I can speak all I want but if he isn't going to understand my point of view, and give me the space to hear me out then it'll be an unhealthy toxic relationship and communication will be pointless. 

I posted the thread while I was deep in my feelings and since then I've had the time to sit with it and process it. I spoke to a friend also just to get it off my chest. I've given it a few chances and will give a few more, but if I don't see a change I will walk away for good.
