This is such an important post!
Sleep is critical, especially during exam season. Whenever I had exams I tried to stick to a routine where I tried to stop studying an hour before bed and I would try to not look at screens, although sometimes that wasn't always successful if I had an assignment due last minute and would stay up to submit it. 😅
I also try to go to sleep at the same time every night and wake up at the same time, somehow that's worked for me over the years but it might not work for everyone. I also try not to have sugary foods or coffee before bedtime
