Hey @Tulip_Starling,
I’d like to start off by welcoming you back to ReachOut! It is really nice to see you again. I can see that things have been really tense over the weekend with your brother. It is completely understandable that you are feeling upset after your brother's reaction.
I also want to acknowledge how amazing you are for having the courage to let your friend know how you are feeling. You should be so proud of yourself! It can be so tough to be vulnerable and let others know that you are experiencing thoughts of suicide. It sounds like your friend was also supportive of you, giving you a hug!
In a previous reply, you mentioned that you were open to connecting with the school counsellor for support. I am interested to know if you have been able to see the school counsellor for support? It might also be helpful to reach out to Kids Helpline who offer free and confidential 24/7 phone and online counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25.
