Hey @adzukitty I'm so glad someone else feels this way! I struggle really hard with motivating myself to get out of bed when I don't have to - and since I'm on a gap year AND between jobs rn it's a daily fight against my toasty bed & me lol

 

For myself, I really need a clear-cut plan for the day to get me up, but I also find I can lose myself in watching TikToks/Youtube videos/reading fanfiction for hours while I put off deciding what to do first thing in the morning. Because of this, I try and plan what I want/need to do for the day the night before with to-do lists and hourly schedules.

 

Without the pressure of the day having already started, I can really efficiently decide what to do and when - and by the time I wake up the next morning I'm way more likely to accept I need to get up and make a start on my first task (even if it's just making breakfast!).
