Hey @adzukitty

I’m in complete agreement. Beds are just too comfortable, especially in winter. The thing I’ve found the most helpful is the have an oodie next to my bed. That way I can put it whilst still in my bed, wait for a bit, and then get up and be nice and toasty.

As for the executive dysfunction making it hard to get out of bed, it might be helpful to make getting out of bed appealing. For example, if you like scrolling through your phone after you wake up, before you go to sleep you could place your phone out of bed range. That way if you want to use your phone, you need to leave your bed to get it. For me, I’m usually thirsty when I wake up, so I keep my water bottle on my desk where I can see it from my bed. It is surprisingly good motivation.
