its the holidays but catching up with friends hasn't been easy
some of them are terrible at communicating so i cant tell if my availability doesn't suit theirs or if they simply don't like me or the activity we wanna do. its had me cherry-picking who I'll stay connected with after year 12 and who'll ill cut ties with.
maybe I'm just picky but i don't like some of the entertainment venues around me, some things are too expense (like sports/adventorous activities) and some I've outgrown. u would think i would get nostalgia with what i outgrew but i havent.
i thought about how i met some of my friends and unfortunately most of them weren't from a mutual interest so its no surprise that we don't have a regular activity we do together. i just don't know how i will preserve friendships after high school or new ones in uni 😞
