Self care c:🎀!!
Hello, I just want to talk about some of the things I’ve done this week to take care of myself despite these past few weeks being extremely hard.
I’ve been working out everyday for 30 mins-an hour or so, I’ve been going on walks despite it being extremely humid, (also these flies have been getting on my nerve! I’ve been swatting them left and right and I probably look like I’m fighting the air atp. But hey, we ball.)
it was my birthday 2 weeks ago and I still had some birthday money saved so I splurged a little and bought some cute shirts and journalling stuff c: I even met the nicest lady at the store and we had a great conversation. When I left I immediately wanted to go back just to talk to her again because it was so much fun conversing with someone who matched the same vibe as me.
I’ve been doing my skincare every night, keeping my place tidy, journaling/drawing, eating my favourite foods and trying not to feel guilty about it.
today I painted some heart shaped clay trays and decorated it (inspired by my favourite Sanrio characters), and it turned out so cute. I’ll be working out later and then I’ll cool down with a shower and do my skincare once again.
Moments like these make me feel at peace and with my life and some of the people in it causing stress and anxiety, I try to cling onto days like this and take advantage of every moment.
I hope everyone today can take a moment to breathe and relax because we all certainly deserve it. I hope you stay hydrated and do something that makes you happy today!
