I sleep with the dogs on the bed, most nights, and sometimes I have woken up in the middle night with either Sid or Bailee's face so close to mine I can feel them breathing, I'm like you're awake and staring at me, this isn't weird at all....- Mark as New

@j95 haha. They can have some weird little ways aye and do some very strange things sometimes! It is so cute that they obviously adore you so much, they want to be that close. Shows you, you that you aren't the only one that really loves another. Your pets adore you too! 😄

Apparently Bailee has been howling at night time cause I haven't been there... I'm getting snapchat updates more than once daily but I'm still feeling some separation anxiety- Mark as New

@Stealth_ninja The atmosphere is different in a household aye! I guess animals are naturally affectionate and loving creatures so they make us feel good and happy. Happiness spreads...

Yeah i agree @Butterfly Wings so much happiness. Yeah i think I remember you mentioning that @j95 that must have been so hard. Your ham story sounds so adorable! haha Dogs get so excited by the simple things, i think thats also a reason why they're so great. They remind you of how important the little things are!!

@Stealth_ninja I must agree with you about pets reminding you of how important the little things in life can be and how we don't place as much value in them as we should. They're wise, these animals aren't they?! 😛

How do they help us be more mentally healthy?
One of the biggest things pets do for me, is to get me out of my head for a moment. It's pretty hard to get lost in your thoughts when there's a cat trying to hunt down your foot.

omg @j95!!! Your Bailee is soo adorable! How cute 😄 Yes i completely agree with you they are like family, early this year my Bailey was hit by a car. Luckily it was only a bounce off the tyre but i had to take her to the vet hospital and I can tell you I really really felt and realised how much of my family she really is. The whole energy in our house has changed since we got a dog, it has really done a lot i think for both my brother and I just happier?

@j95 my aunt's dog Sparky would come rushing into the kitchen no matter where he was as soon as heard the cookie jar lid being lifted. It was sooooooo funny and adorable 😄

Hahaha yeah @j95 it's really funny. My cat, especially Umrao, would meow her head off until I gave her what she loved most - wet food (junk food equivalent). This was every morning without fail.
@khaleesi_18 thanks 🙂 Sparky really was a character and for a Doberman he was such a pussycat (with family i.e.). He passed away years ago. It was really heartbreaking.

My dogs will nibble at my feet in the morning until I cave and give them their food @Mona-RO It's really not appreciated when I just want to sleep in on a Saturday morning, but they know it will work- Mark as New

@Mona-RO our puppy Odin will run straight to the food bins after jumping and licking you after you go outside. He just sits there with his butt shaking (because he's wagging his tail), so excitedly 😛Also, sorry guys but I'm going to go! One, my laptop is about to run out of charge and also because I should probably eat dinner and I'm not feeling all the crash hot. Maybe the cat will come and cuddle after I put my laptop away! 😄

*waves* Hi Bailey! She looks adorable @Stealth_ninja! I agree, pets are great, that their love is unconditional and they don't care whether you've had a good day or bad day, whatever. Take you as you are really. I think people, learn a lot about caring for something because of pets, especially as a kid.

What’s so good about having a pet anyway?
Well, for me, I think they're a lot like us. They have character and personality. Can make you laugh, you can play and have fun, and the best part, I reckon is they don't judge. Very accepting - as long as you care and love them, they will do so in return, in their own little ways you know?

What’s so good about having a pet anyway?
Pets make you feel less alone, I know growing up I could cuddle our cat for comfort, she was amazing. And our dog gave us lots of fun. Threes something special about pets undying affection that is soothing

What’s so good about having a pet anyway?Because they are amazing!!! But seriously, they are kind and wonderful creatures who you bond with on such a special and unique level. It's absolutely amazing how having a pet can change your life. They're beautiful and happy creatures that care about only two things. You and food 😛
