Animal Crossing Fans

@lokifish  @drpenguin  I've been enjoying the wedding event too! Once, I got a bit bored of decorating the room the same way so I just put random furniture down though. I really like the alternate chic and gardening themes.

Today, it snowed on our island for the first time!

Our island started having snow on the ground yesterday! I was so excited. I remember spending a lot of time in winter in past Animal Crossing games because it used to be during end of year school holidays. I made a snowboy and caught snowflakes.

@WheresMySquishy yess the snow is so exciting! 😄 Yesterday I tried making another snowboy but I accidentally pushed the large snowball onto the small one instead of the other way around  Snowboy's response was so hilarious haha!

Haha that's amazing! I think the jokes/some of the things the characters say is my favourite part of the game 🙂

I'm so happy to have found this thread!!!!! It was an unfulfilled childhood wish of mine to play Animal Crossing New Leaf on Gamecube so I've been holding out for New Horizons for what feels like a lifetime! I pre-ordered the game for myself and my partner (as a gift to say thanks for tolerating me through recent stressful times) and it really got me through a couple of difficult months! Admittedly, I probably spent tooooo much time on it in April...... perhaps around 150 hours or more...... YIKES! But now I find I haven't picked it up in weeks....... It was pretty great to have something to get me out of bed with major excitement each day.

I completely missed the wedding event but it looks so cute! @lokifish I have no concept of what the photo stuff was like but it makes me smile to imagine you begrudgingly yet happily doing an identical ceremony/reception photo thing many times.

One of my villagers just sent me a fake painting in the mail. I tried to give it back to him but he refused it, saying that he didn't want to listen to Blathers being angry at him.
That's some neighbourly passive-aggressiveness!

Who's enjoying the new update? I've made a lot of Bells through diving and have caught almost all the sea creatures available right now.
Gullivarrr washed up on our beach today! I didn't know about him so it was a nice surprise.

@WheresMySquishy  you were right, I do really love it! My whole family have been playing it (on the same switch, so we share an island lol), and it's so wholesome and lovely, and surprisingly addictive! My partner asked a villager to leave and I felt oddly sad, then I was visiting another island and accidentally invited them to live with us. He hasn't mentioned them yet so I don't know if he's seen them 😉 

I got into the turnip game for the first time on Sunday and am now nervously waiting to see what will happen with prices... who even am I??!!

We haven't achieved that yet, but my sister hasn't been playing the game much recently because her schoolwork and physio schedules have got busier, so I've been the main one decorating the island.

A villager I hadn't seen since our GameCube Animal Crossing town camped in our island yesterday! I wanted to move her in, but my sister said she didn't want to replace the other villager who wanted to move out. So I had to say goodbye to her (again). 😞
Today, Pinky sent me a really nice letter saying how much people care about me and how she'd buy two action figures of me. I thought it was so cute.

My sister and I have been marathoning New Horizons! I think that playing it together on the same Switch has been both a blessing and a curse. We didn't really have this dimension in New Leaf because there could only be one mayor per town and the mayor was in charge of particular things.

To make things easier, we've decided to make a kanban board so that we can see which projects we are each working on and what each other has done. I think this could be a good idea if multiple members of a household are on the same island.
Some tools you can do this with are Trello and Kanbanflow.

Oh man I love Animal Crossing!! I swear I've spent the last two days planning all my stuff for it!

My housemate and I also share an island as well, so I think the project delegation is such a great idea! I may have done a few too many of the island tasks myself in my excitement, so we spent a lot of last night playing multiplayer to catch her up!
