COMMUNITY CHALLENGE: Get Sh!t Sorted!!! Prizes!!

Heyy Guys 🙂

For October’s community challenge we’ve got something quite amazing for you, the The Sorter: Get Sh!t Sorted App! This is a handy new app designed specifically for you to give you advice on the fly from everyday situations to serious stuff on how to better manage your life.

For this inaugural release of the Sorter App we’ll be handing out 2 x $50 Westfield gift Vouchers as prizes for this month’s CC. These fantastic prizes will be awarded to the people who can come up with the most creative ideas and are the most involved in the challenges which will be run over 7 days. Judges by us, the mods.

This challenge will give you daily tasks from now until next Tuesday. For the first task (for the next 24 hours) is to download the app here, play around and tell us your number 1 favourite thing about it! It could be about the colours, the font, the advice or seriousness levels - whatever it is, let us know 🙂

Ready.... GO! We'll be back tomorrow with another task for the day!!!

Hahah awesome! Yay 🙂 I'm actually using the sorter pretty much every day so that's cool 🙂 even going over old tips!

Also, slightly ashamed I didn't notice this before, but since when can we tag people on the forums?! Was it ever since the launch of the new ones? *feeling left behind*...

Yay EmilyJ!

It's only come about recently, and I don't think it was officially announced...

Study stress is the big one for me at the moment, but I've had a good play around with the app and have had a squizz at the lists for all the topics. Pretty awesome bite sized advice!

@EmilyJ: Study stress is on the top of the list for me as well. Looks like I'll be relying on Sorter quite a bit to keep me on track!

Do you guys have anything else you want to get sorted?

@EmilyJ: Agreed! I do like the interactive nature of the 'serious levels' but lists are where it's at! I also the ability to shake to get to the next tip.

@Rue: Yeah it's great of getting advice on the things we deal with day in day out!

Thanks for your responses guys 🙂

Now it is time for....

 Day 2 Challenge:
What aspect of life do you want to get sorted? Sex and relationships? Alcohol and Other Drugs? Let us know, and tell us the great tips on the topic that sorter has given you!

I guess one thing that isn't accommodated on this app but needs to be sorted for me is negative thinking. Then again, I could always pop onto RO.com for these more hardcore stuff right?

@Gail: It seems to be quite a few of us! I hope Sorter is of some assistance 🙂

@Doris: Right you are! Although it'd be a great idea for some additions to be made to the app which give some positive messages to help people out of the cycle of negative thinking.

Not particularly interesting, but today I told my mate about the sorter app. How I described it was an app that will give you quick handy tips on how to manage different aspects of your life.

Any other better ideas?

At first I really liked the touch the screen for the level of seriousness thing. But then I got a bit frustrated (and maybe developed RSI...) trying to flick between tips! Until I discovered the LIST option, which I've now decided is awesome, because I can see all the relevant issues at a glance and choose which ones to look at. But without the touch meter thing I think the app would be less engaging, so definitely keep it! I like the whole levels of seriousness thing!

I like the quick and REAL advice

The text is awesome too its lovely and easy to read

I like how the app has shortened things in categories that we actually deal with on a daily basis

I am lovin it 😄

The first thing that really stuck out to me, that I really liked was how the info was so short and sweet. If you wanted some advice on something you'd get it in as few lines as possible!

How about you guys?

Welcome back!
