I'm getting really frustrated and wound up tonight, all I want to do is find the course I want to do but nowhere offers it until mid year or my laptop is being fucking stupid and I can't look, my brother is over and he is being a pain (well he isn't doing anything wrong but I'm being snappy) and my housemate is just so annoying. Nobody is doing anything wrong but every little sound and the things people around me are doing are making me really agitated. Maybe I'm just exhausted. Maybe everyone should just shut up. Ugh I can't even have the tv or music on right now just grrr

@j95 what kind of course are you looking at? I think that many would be closed until mid-year, as the semester changes. Brothers can be pains, even if they aren't doing anything. If TV or music isn't helping, then maybe you could go for a walk or something? To clear your head, get some quiet? Or maybe you could go into your room, put on your headphones and listen to nature sounds. They aren't music, but you can use them to block out other sounds to help you focus. Maybe having an early night too?

@N1ghtW1ng I don't know what to do, it's just been such a busy weekend I haven't been able to go out for a run, swim or bike ride like I normally do to chill out and I'm just super stressed. I'm not quite sure what going on right now I'm just feeling really anxious and sort of on edge.

It might just be a bit of a build up. You haven't really done anything you normally do to chill out so you haven't been able to.

The Gender Infobus is on a Tuesday night!!!!!!!! And it starts at 7:30pm Brisbane time (I think) which is roughly when it finishes which means I'll miss it because I have to shower and get home and

I thought I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and now I'm fairly sure that's wrong and not what I want to do hahaha cooool

@N1ghtW1ng I love what I'm doing but it's just not what I really want to be doing, I want to actually be out there making a different in people's lives, I see my siblings every fortnight and I love my volunteer work I'd like to make that my career

It's alright to have a change of heart while thinking about your future @j95. My sister changed in the middle of one degree and then has only recently gone back to it.
Sometimes it's nice to see other options or opportunities for a job or career and then realise you were right the first time.
You're still young! Many different choices and decisions are waiting for you, you've just got to make them, and see what happens. 🙂

been chosen to do something really cool with my trade school so I'm looking forward to that tomorrow
