It's like Twitter...but on Reach Out! Basically post status updates. No more than 140 characters if you're following the rules, but most of us will probably end up breaking that rule any way! 😛
Have you asked anyone at your work or a counsellor or careers advisor about what to do? They might be able to offer some advice to help make the decision clearer. Doona nests are definitely awesome, do you find they help relax you? You're a great person j95 and whatever you decide to do will be the right decision. It's hard to make such big decisions, espeically since there is no one to make it for you but hopefully there are people who can help you make it. Do you have any deadlines on your decison? Depending on how you are, setting yourself a deadline if there isn't already one might help you make the decision. If you think that'd help. Even being 80% sure of your decision is enough to make it because we can't always be 100% sure of our choice.
Hopefully tomorrow things will be clearer 🙂
I hope they quieten down soon so that you can relax
Did you manage to get the dogs in? I hope you're feeling a bit better tomorrow.
And I agree so much with @ellebelles wise words
My thoughts are jumping to: dogs, TV, games threads, something yummy to eat and getting somewhere comfy?
I'm just so stuck because I feel like it's another thing add to the list of things I failed at and never finished. I could list heaps. I never follow through with things.
What is something that you need from us tonight in order to feel a little more positive?
I really do understand that awful guilt when you feel like you've let someone down or disappointed them, @j95. I think you feel that even more deeply because you know how it feels to be on the receiving end of that disappointment. However, I'm going to use a Godfather quote here:
Bosses understand that their employees will come and go. It's all part of being a boss. You're following your passion and trying to create a life that makes you happy. A good boss (and it sounds like you have one) will understand that from a human level, because that's what they did when they created their business.
It's normal to be a bit scared of change and to let those emotios out through a good cry. But I hope you can try to let go of the guilt.
Who do you think you could ask at work or in your life that could provide some different perspectives for you? Is there a course counsellor you could book a session with? Sometimes it's the sort of clarity you need
