@lucas dealing with unpleasant memories can be tricky. I'm still learning how to deal with my own. Sometimes it takes a while to find what works, but it's possible to get through this. I think it's important to reach out, have strategies e.g. Expression. Do you have close friends or are you seeing a counsellor or doc?
Hey @lucas, i'm sorry you are feeling depressed from your memories. I think seeing someone like @redhead and @Creativegirl12 said is a great idea.
Another strategy that may help it so try and visualise the memories as a sort of film. One that can be on a small screen and that is far away from you. But I think this would be best worked on with a counsellor.
Do your parents and friends know how you are feeling?
