Today I am proud of myself for...

Hello everyone in our RO community! šŸ™‚

I wanted to create a thread where we could shed light on something we're proud of ourselves for doing this week!

Today I am proud of myself for... getting out of bed early and getting to the gym!!

I love going to the gym, but on mornings when it's really cold I find it a challenge to get out of bed, so I'm super proud of myself for doing something that makes me happy despite it being a little bit of a challenge!

What are you proud of yourself for?

My mental health has been pretty low lately so I'm taking the wins wherever I can get them. Today, I'm proud of myself for getting out of bed and going to work. Doesn't seem like much, but one step at a time šŸ˜Š

Hey everyone! Today I am proud of myself for heading to the gym - I often get really overwhelmed by the amount of people there but I started my week off strong today šŸ™‚

Today I'm proud of myself for going on a 40 minute walk outside. A month ago, I was struggling to even get out of bed, didn't want to leave the house and I was doing no exercise and feeling bad about myself. But the past two weeks I've been up at 6:30 and doing at least one thing that gets my body moving! One day I want to be able to go for a run or go to the gym, but baby steps!

This week, I'm proud of myself being able to start writing my assignment! The assignment is a report and we need to look back at previous psychological measures and to write the psychometic properties. Had to read 9 pages for the past few days, but it was worth it as I now understand the article!

I am proud of myself for starting to live a more healthier lifestyle like eating foods that make me feel good (physically and mentally) and also working out more often šŸ™‚

Nice post!

Today I'm proud of myself for starting to work on an assessment earlier than I usually would. I'm quite the procrastinator, so it was relieving to make my life a bit easier for my future self.

Hi, this is a great thread

Today I am proud of running on the treadmill, I dislike running but I was bored of my other routine at the gym so I was trying to switch it up.

Today I am proud of myself for doing lots of driving, as driving can be quite overwhelming and scary for me sometimes šŸ˜‡

I love this @orange_sunrise! šŸ˜Š

I think it is super important to acknowledge the achievements you make no matter how small.

As someone who struggles with social anxiety I often feel proud when I am able to leave the house at least once a day. I went out most of the day on Sunday to do some shopping for my uni graduation with my best friend. This is happening next week so this will be a huge thing for me to feel proud of because walking across a stage in a room full of hundreds of people is terrifying to me. But what I have found is the more I do something the easier it gets!

This post is a great reminder to always pat yourself on the back anytime you do something that you might not feel motivated to do or feel scared to do!

Omg congratulations on graduation! šŸŽ‰ That is such an amazing achievement in and of itself. It sounds like your mindset about graduation is in a good direction, because you are right - the more you do the easier it gets!

I hope all goes well for you next week, I'll be cheering you on from over here! šŸ™Œ

Thank you @Lemon_Parrotā€‚ā˜ŗļø

It's scary having finished and not knowing what to do next but it will also be good to receive recognition for the last 4 years. It should be a great day!

Are you in the middle of studies at the moment etc.?

I have the most supportive close knit family so I'm very lucky šŸ«¶šŸ»
We're just doing dinner after the ceremony which is in the afternoon next Wednesday šŸ„‚

Omg I wish I had a plan šŸ¤£ I have ideas and I know I want to go and do more study but I'm glad I'm taking a year or two to just build confidence and get some experience. And I'm on the path of Psychology which is extremely broad and highly competitive šŸ¤£

What about you?!

Ideas are the baseline for everything hahaha. I'm in psychology too! I feeeeeel what you are saying about the competitiveness, it sounds like you getting some experience and confidence is the best move forward, good luck with everything šŸ˜Š

I am proud of myself for working on my daily routine by going to bed earlier. I've been going to bed about an hour earlier and I haven't been using my phone for just over an hour before. So I've been able to just relax and read.

Today I am proud of myself for going to the shops and getting some new clothes! I have a lot of social anxiety, so shopping is always tricky šŸ™ˆ

Hii @orange_sunriseā€‚

This is such an amazing post šŸ˜Š I think its super important to give ourselves a pat on the back every once in a while for the effort we put in everyday!!

Something I am proud of today is driving to uni this morning in traffic. I had a morning class at 8:00am and had to leave at 6:45am to reach on time. I'm super proud that I was able to wake up on a really cold morning and make it to class on time!

Hey @orange_sunriseā€‚

This is such a great reminder for us to recognise our achievements. Going to the gym in the morning with this kind of weather is truly an accomplishment! Iā€™m proud of myself for managing and acknowledging my anxiety rather than ignoring it and hoping it goes away.

Welcome back!
