I am really glad to hear you are trying so hard to stay safe and that you got some good sleep today, sometimes thats the best thing we can do to help regulate our emotions ❤️ It sounds like you have an emotionally exhausting few days and that you were just trying your best to cope. It also sounds like you love and appreciate your family (especially your mum) so much and appreciated having them there despite this being overwhelming at times and exhausting. Feelings of numbness you described in that hug with your mum does not take away how much you love her, it really just sounds like you were doing your best to protect yourself and your family emotionally. Family dynamics can be really tricky, theres so much that goes on within families and it can be a truly complex thing to manage.
