Thanks for your post and for raising this topic as I am sure that it is one many people can relate to.
Dating can be a really challenging thing to navigate. Sometimes, when things don't work out, it can leave us feeling like we're going to be alone forever, especially if we have the tendency to catastrophise (i.e., think of the worst-case scenario). All I can say is that it can take a while to find the right person, to filter through the 'baddies' or the ones unsuitable to us. Some people never find the right person, however, I feel that is probably unlikely, and anyway, I personally do think it is possible for a person to be happy on their own.
What about being in a relationship appeals to you? What about being alone bothers you?
Also, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?
